Students over the next month and a half until the end of February will be working on essays which they will also be using as speeches. The final written copy of their essay will be due in the third week of February and speech presentations will be the week before March break. This tends to be a busy time of year for projects and so forth so we will use a great deal of   for this purpose but students will still need to do some work on their essays at home and will need to memorize their speeches at home as well. The Speech notes and expectations will be available on my page for home use by Monday . Students are also reminded to keep their reading logs up to date.
