At Home Learning - Info for Families

Posted: November 1, 2021

With the move to at home learning starting today, please check our teacher pages - http://drlosier.nbed.nb.ca/teacherpages - where each teacher will be sharing their home learning plans.

For lesson delivery, attendance, assignments, and assessments teachers will be using Teams.  If you are new to this, Teams is free for all students, they log in using their NBSS credentials.  Teams app can be downloaded to phones and tablets or used directly from an internet browser.  All students have been shown how to use Teams as part of their MSTE class.  For students who have trouble connecting, please reach out to your subject teacher that you are having the issue with via email - all staff emails are posted - http://drlosier.nbed.nb.ca/staff -

A reminder that at home learning is required and work will be collected and assessed regularly.  Teachers will be connecting with students regularly over Teams.  If parents or families have any questions or require assistance - reach out to the staff member via email.

The building will be opened today from 10:30 - 12 for a second collection of essential items.  All public health measures will be followed.

For more clarification on attendance and instruction, please read our Home Learning Plan infographic located here: http://drlosier.nbed.nb.ca/news/dlms-learning-home-infographic

We appreciate that this is not an easy time for students and families.  We will do what we can to support our students.  Do your best and if you need help, please reach out.
