Another good deed from our School to the Community. Thank you to all who helped out and made donations of food for the bake sale and donated materials to the SPCA. Good job 7S.
Well, the school year is half over and it is finally time to have a Home & School meeting! I hope that you are all still interested in contributing your ideas and energy into the life of Dr. Losier Middle School. There are really only a few events that the Home & School organizes throughout the year and they are all approaching.

Welcome to 2017! Happy New Year! Please note that Monday, January 9th will be a Professional Learning Day for staff in ASD-N, and therefore there will be no school for students. Regular classes will begin again for all students on Tuesday, January 10th. We're looking forward to seeing you all soon. :)
Santa has come early to Dr. Losier Middle School! Students at the school were fortunate to be awarded a substantial donation from the Walter MacDonald Music Fund this year and the instruments have started to arrive! With this generous contribution to our music program, we will be dedicating our Jam Room to Norman Learo; a former music teacher in our school and a renowned musician himself. We know Norman would be proud that his musical legacy will live on with our students as they discover new talents of their own.
Classes 6D and 6V are collecting food to assist with food baskets for families at Christmas. Please send donations in with your child, and the students from these classes will be around to collect. The campaign runs until Wednesday, December 14th. We thank you for your support!
The Annual Christmas Dinner put on by the Cafeteria Staff will be held on Wednesday, December 14th, with the storm date being Dec. 15th. The cost to the students will be $5. Thank you to the DLMS Home and School Association and the DLMS Student Council for helping reduce the cost to students.
