Our annual Meet the Teacher Night will take place on Wednesday, September 21st at 6:00 pm in the school theatre.  At this time you will have the opportunity not only to meet your child’s teachers, but to find out their expectations and procedures for the 2011/2012 school year.  We will be drawing for several prizes during this evening, as well as electing our new PSSC members.  We look forward to meeting you at this time.   Several dates we’d like you to take note of: There will be no school for students on Monday, September 19th as this is a Minister’s Exemption Day for School Improvement Planning. Our school fundraiser will kick off on Tuesday, September 20th.  We will be offering cookie dough and muffin mix for sale.  This will be our second year for this fundraiser, as it was well received last year. Our daily Activity Period will begin on Tuesday, September 20th.  Your child will be bringing home a schedule this week. Our Home and School Committee will meet on Tuesday, October 4th at 6:30.  All parents and guardians are invited and encouraged to attend this meeting. September 26th – Information session for grade 7 girls re HPV vaccine – information and permission forms to go home; Oct. 3rd – 1st needle Student Fees ($30) due by September 30th September 30th – Welcome Back Dance – 6:30 – 8:30 (date tentative) The canteen is now open.  Various items are available, and a complete price list is posted in each classroom. School pictures are tentatively scheduled for Oct 6th and 7th.   Again, we look forward to meeting with you on Wednesday, September 21st at 6:00pm!
