Dear Students and Parents of PIF 6,7,8, and 6/7English,

I hope this message finds you well.  If we are learning from home on Monday, November 1, all students are asked to go to their Teams page to get their assignments and class materials. See past notes should you need a refresher on how to get there. Remember that you should be notified by email when assignments are posted.

6/7 English has their writing journal and rubric.  Lessons will be posted daily if needed. There is a reading assignment already posted due on Tuesday.   Reading your own book and practicing reading strategies such as Somebody Wanted But So.

All PIF students will be asked to log on to duolingo.com to practice their French for 20 minutes a day.  If you have access to Netflix/ kids shows on YouTube, watch one of your shows in French.  Change the subtitles and audio to French.  Watch a few minutes and then see how many words you know. Keep a record of new words.  Remember, you are listening for pronunciation, fluency, and key words. I don’t expect you to understand all the words. Practice makes perfect.
