Hi everyone,

 I hope that you are enjoying visiting with your family bubble.  While we are still learning from home, I would like you to enjoy reading the newest article, “The First Inuit Novel”. This week I am posting your reading assignment on my teacher page as well as on the website, currents4kids.com   Then your parents can see your assignment, too! :0

Assignment One:  Read “The First Inuit Novel”.  currents4Kids.com

Assignment Two:  Do the “On-the-lines” and “Between-the-lines” online quizzes. Class average was 80% last week. Keep up the great work!  I like going back and checking my answers to make sure that I understood the question.

Assignment Three: Under STUDENT RESPONSE, above the story, you will see a choice of responses and a response text box. Choose from one of the listed choices, and write a short paragraph in response.    Enter your response in the space and submit by clicking on REVIEW.  If you do not have time to finish, click on DRAFT and finish it later.  I may send it back to you to make punctuation changes if needed. J

HOW TO AVOID LOSING YOUR WORK: Usually when typing on a website, I type it up in a Word document first. I run spell check and then paste it into the website. When using Word, my work is automatically saved, so I do not lose it.
