Students have been viewing stories about heroes and Remembrance Day.  They have also been evaluating what makes  good writing.  This has all been preparation for the Royal Canadian Legion's Essay and Poetry Contest.  Students may write either an essay or poem on the topic of Remembrance.   Criteria: Max of 500 word essay or 32 line poem.  Visit the above link to view contest details and student winners.  We have enjoyed viewing some of the past winners.
