Friday, March 1st will be a full day to celebrate our students. The purpose is for student to choose an activity they want to participate in, we cover the costs and bussing. On Thursday, December 21st we had our Monthly Recognition Ceremony. We continued to highlight our students who are doing great things via Shout Outs!. Knight will be moving around the school, if you spot him go to the website and click on the link to enter the word of the day. The daily winner will be announced at the end of the day.
On Friday, June 2nd we wrapped up our school fundraiser. In total we raised $19045! An incredible amount of support shown by our school community. We want to thank everyone who purchased a ticket, all the students and staff who sold tickets, staff who helped count the money and write out the tickets, especially Rhonda MacLean the true engine of the intiative. We also want to thank the local businesses that donated the prizes and Natalie our parent who solicited the donations.
On Tuesday, June 13th the Dr. Losier Multi-cultural Fundraising team are hosting a BBQ that day at lunch hour to fundraise for future events. We will have outdoor fair-type games, face paint, and water balloon dodgeball. We will also be having food to sell for lunch such as: Hot Dogs (Vegetarian ones too), popcorn, and popcicles.
On Thursday, March 2nd, DLMS will have hosting a live event, an Exhibition of Learning to showcase the projects from our current round of Design Block.
This is event is free of change. The event will open to the public at 2:30pm and will wrap up at 3:10pm. Students are permitted to leave with their parents after they present their learning.
