On Thursday April 12th, students and staff wore their Jerseys in Honour of the Humboldt Broncos. Donations were accepted at lunch for this cause. Donations can still be made in the office.

On Friday April 6th, 30 new Blue Knights where honoured in a ceremony in front of Parents/Guardians and the School Community. Congratulations to all the new Knights. "Do the Right thing because it's the Knight thing to do."
The District Science Fair was held on Saturday March 24th. It was a great event and our students did very well. Gavin McLenaghan received Bronze, Lauren Guyader received Silver, Christena MacDonald and Aubrey Barry with Ashley Simmie received Gold. Congratulations to all our students who participated. You made our School proud.
This week we where fortunate to have special guest come in and make some delicious Chicken Fricot that we all got to taste. Friday we will have our Tintamarre. Students are asked to dress in Red, White and Blue and bring noise makers. In the afternoon we will have a concert by Phil Boudreau and Band to end our celebration of French Culture.
Science Fairs projects are due on March 12th for most Science teachers. The school Science Fair will be held on Friday, therefore teachers will be looking to see projects this week. Please check with individual Teachers pages for dates on when the projects are expected at school.
DLMS will be participating in our own Olympic ceremony on Wed. Feb.14th. Each homeroom class has chosen a country and are asked to wear their country's colors to the parade. The Olympic torch will be carried by Alexandre (thank you Mrs. Gorges), and all classes are to prepare a performance and introduction for their country. All participation points will be earned for the challenge cup achievement this month. Enjoy!

A Knighting Ceremony was held Friday morning for the new Blue Knights of Dr. Losier Middle School. The students received their new Dr. Losier t-shirt with our new logo. A reception was held in the cafeteria with their parents and relatives. Congratulations to the new Knights and lovely new suit Mr. Waye.
