Hello Knights! I am so excited to be visiting your awesome school. I've heard that your teachers are so proud of all you've accomplished so far this school year. So, I've decided to come all the way from the North Pole with a special task for you! Starting Monday, I will be up to my old tricks and hiding out in a different place each day...AND I will be holding a secret word! If you see the word, you can enter the word on an online form that I've asked Mrs. Cabel to put on the DLMS website. This will give you a chance to win a gift card!

Today we had our first Blue Knighting ceremony of the 2020-2021 school year. Since we could not have a face to face ceremony, we pivoted to an in bubble celebration. As a virtual event, we created a video that showcased each Blue Knight. After the video played, the entire class celebrated with snacks that were provided.
We are so excited for our Halloween Spirit Week! When students and teachers participate in Spirit Days, they will earn points for their classroom bubbles. The classroom bubble with the highest percentage of participation at the end of the week will receive a movie and pizza party to be held on a date of their choice. This week will also feature a pumpkin carving contest and costume contest. Good luck, Knights!
During the weekly administrators call, we were notified that throughout ASD-N that October 30th will be a professional learning day for staff so there will be no school for students. This PL day will replace one of the days in the new year. We will send a voice mail and email to parents next week to remind them of the change.
