During the weekly administrators call, we were notified that throughout ASD-N that October 30th will be a professional learning day for staff so there will be no school for students.  This PL day will replace one of the days in the new year.  We will send a voice mail and email to parents next week to remind them of the change.

To start the year, we will begin by having a virtual meet and greet for both our Home and School and PSSC organizations.  Since there is no requirement that you are on both committees, we have set up two different meeting links.  We encourage anyone who wants to participate in either of the committees this year to join the virtual meetings.

On Monday, October 5th our cafeteria opened for service.  Attached is copy of the menu. Parents and students can place online orders using cafzone.ca.  A link to the ordering site has been added to the "quick links" on the main Dr. Losier page.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are unable to hold in-person events like meet the teacher.  We have been looking for creative ways ensure that valued events like this take place.  We started by posting a "Questions from the Community" form on our school website so we could get a sense of the questions that community members might have.  From there, we took that information and created a video that will air in lieu of a face to face assembly.

Our cafeteria service provider has reached out to the school requesting some additional time to get cafeteria service up and going.  Our new opening date will be October 5th.  We applogize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Welcome back, Knights! We have been sending out communication over the last month, but we wanted to send a summary of information that will help families get ready for a safe return.  Because safety is our number one priority, we have made some changes to our usual routines and operations in order to prioritize our school community's health and well-being during this return to school.
