Hey 8S, 8L, and 8R!

We will be shifting gears a bit this week!  Our learning opportunities will begin focusing on persuasive reading and writing.  We will be reading persuasive texts and also writing our own persuasive piece.  I've divided this unit up into weekly chunks, but in the persuasive writing documents, you will be able to see how this unit will look week by week.  Each week, I will include teaching slides (PowerPoint), a student workbook, and attached documents that are referenced in the slides.  Please make sure that you read the instructions on the slides/workbook.  Please email me if you need help along the way!

*Update - I am also including the PowerPoint slides as a PDF for students who are unable to access PowerPoint.  I am also including a Note on my Teacher Page that shows you how to access Word, PowerPoint, and other Office Apps through your student account.
