Hi everyone!

I am really enjoying reading about all of your unique persuasive essay topics!  Now that we have organized our thoughts and wrote an introduction, we will move into the next phase of writing - the body paragraphs.  There are some important lessons we need to talk about with regards to the body, specifically what an effective body paragraph looks like and how to properly use words from our research in our writing.  We want to include the important information in our research, but we need to ensure that we do not steal it.  So how do we do that?  Two ways - paraphrasing and direct quotes.  We will learn about both of those this week.
