Hey All You Cool Cats and Kittens!

I want to begin by saying how much I miss each one of you! I was so happy to see many of you participating in the DLMS virtual Spirit Week! I looked forward to seeing who was going to post each day. These past three weeks have been filled with lots of uncertainty and questions. This has definitely been a big change to what we are used to. Although I am disappointed we can’t finish out the year together, I am excited to being this new Learning from Home journey with you.

As you may have heard, this week we are beginning our Learning from Home options. While academics are important, your health, safety, well-being (and sanity during self-isolation) are top priority so please take that in consideration!

DLMS has decided to use the online math platform DreamBox for continued math learning. Students will need a specific username and password to access their individual profiles. These credentials are provided to us by an outside source and should be available this week. If you plan to use this as a resource for math learning, please send me an email at Lindsay.Reid@nbed.nb.ca and I will forward your child’s login information when it becomes available. I will post a link to the DreamBox login page with instructions in a separate post.

In the coming weeks I will also be posting some additional suggested STEM activities for students to explore.

If you have any questions or concerns in the coming days and weeks please do not hesitate to contact me!

Stay Safe!

Ms. Reid
