Congratulations to the 83 students who had perfect attendance for the month of April. Classes 6C, 7F, 7S, and 8M all had improved attendance, and classes 6V, 7S, and 8M tied for the best attendance at 96.6%. Well done, Everyone. Congratulations as well to Stephan Leggatt, winner of the Perfect Attendance for April prize!
The Miramichi Track and Field Club will once again be offering the Run, Jump, Throw 12 Challenge Series. For this series, youth aged 5 to 12 are invited to participate in 4 evenings of 12 Challenges, which are planned for Mondays - starting May 11, 18, 25, June 1st and final meet on June 9th at the James M Hill track in Miramichi. Three different track and field events are scheduled every week for a total of 12 events (hence the name of the program). The instructors will be trained Run, Jump, Throw instructors.
As previously announced the girls have a tournament tonight in Blackville. The first game starts at 4:45 (schedule change recieved on Sunday). The last game should finish at 8:00 (it starts at 7:15). Hope to see all of you there.

MINOR FOOTBALL REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!!!
Football New Brunswick (FNB) is excited
to announce it will be offering another football program this spring in the
Miramichi/Kent Region to children born between 2000-2005! The age groups will
be separated into an Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16 leagues.
When: Teams will play 3 times a week throughout the
month of May
What: It will include 2 hour practices and 2 jamborees!
Where: The football will be played at the Miramichi
Valley High School Rugby Field, but it is encouraged that residents from
surrounding communities participate.
The deadine for payment for the grade 8 trip is fast approaching. FInal payment is due on Friday April 17th. Please see the attached documents for the itinerary and for the permission form. A reminder to parents that if your child is not able to attend this trip they are expected to attend regular classes where they will work on the same curricular outcomes as those attending the trip.
Fluffy the Bunny made his second annual visit to Dr. Losier Middle on Wednesday. Besides hiding photos of himself each day for students to find, Fluffy visited the classes to take a picture with the students who had perfect attendance for March. Our boys from Colombia - Eduardo, Pablo, and Sebastion - got to have a photo shoot with Fluffy! Thanks, Fluffy. See you next year!
