Congratulations to the 87 students who had perfect attendance for the month of January. Best overall attendance was 7S, with 97.1%. Five classes - 7F, 8M, 6V, 7S, and 8S - have improved attendance over December. Well done! Congratulations as well to Katelyn Lamont, winner of the Perfect Attendance prize for January!

Congratulations to the winners of the Remembrance Day contest sponsored Chatham Legion. L-R Reese Moar (7S), third place poster; Autumn MacDonald (6C), second place poster ; Robin Ross (6V) , first place poster; Kate Estabrooks (8S), first place essay; and Marion Harris (Chatham Legion representative). We thank Marion Harris for presenting the prizes to the students. Kate Estabrooks essay and Robin Ross' art work have been submitted to the provincial comptetition! Well done, all!
Dr. Losiers' Home and School Association will be extending the power toning fitness class again for 2015. The classes will continue to be led by led by certified instructor Tobi Desveaux. The classes involves low impact intervals of cardio and strength training, great music and lots of fun! The classes will take place on Wednesday evenings between 7-8 in the school gym. The cost of the classes are $25/4 weeks or $8 a class. Everyone is welcome to attend, and all money raised will be donated to the Dr. Losier Home and School Association .
Congratulations to classes 7S (Mme. Stewart) and 8S (Mme. Squire) who tied in the Challenge Cup activities in the month of December. A great showing by both classes!

We were very excited in December to have 115 students with perfect attendance - that's over half of our students! Every class had attendance over 90%, with Mme. Doucet's class having the best attendance in the school!
