Grade 6 Social Studies Sochi Olympic Podium Pages Assignment

Students have been given a My Podium Pages workbook with journalling entries to keep them involved in the ongoing Winter Olympics. This is a daily activity which they will complete throughout the games and turn in for assessment at the end of the month. They are responsible for completing Day 1 -4 for Monday Feb 10th. Please see attached copy of the workbook, in case you forget your notebook at school.

6M & 6C Basket for Ricky Ye

As mentioned in the this weeks newsletter, we will be selling tickets on a basket beginning on Monday. Proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to Ricky Ye and his family, as he receives treatment at the IWK. Any donations to the basket would be greatly appreciated. Some ideas would be gift cards to the movie theatre or Tim Hortons, christmas ornaments or crafts, candles, chocolates, etc. Thank you :)
