Hi Drama People and Parents,
Monday:There will be practice for all(except gr. 7s who have V-ball) tomorrow until 4:30. We will work on entrances and exits, singing and expression on all parts we have done thus far.
Thursday : All complete run- through of p, 1-30 and then working on the second half.
Saturday, April 23 and 30 Practices from 1-4:00 : All needed!!! J

7F- L. Arts We were so into our read aloud that I forgot to collect your word work. Lucky you! I will collect it on Monday. Review spellings, too. Read 30 minutes a night as reading responses return this week. One due on Thursday.
6V- Read 30 minutes a night as reading responses return this week. One due on Wednesday. Consdier what you'd like to ask Valerie Sherrard about her book or tips for writing.
8F- Choose which novel project you want to do. See image gallery for various options. Of course, if there is something not mentionned that you'd rather do, we can discuss it on Monday. Next role due for Tuesday.

French: Finish your poster.
6V- In response to Three Million Acres of Flame, choose one part of the story. Explain what is happening and then imagine what you would do if you were Skye. How would you feel? How would you react to the situation and why?
8F- Complete the connector role based on chapters 21-23.
DRAMA- practice until 4:00. Everyone needed.

We will be having a drama paractice from 1-4. Please bring a pencil, script, and water bottle. We will be doing vocal work, entrances and exits and prop placement, practicing separate scenes and then running everything from page 1- 30. It will be a hectic pace!!! See you there!

6V- Word exercises are due on Friday!!! Ask your parents about the Miramichi Fire.
8F L.A. Fill in some of the plot diagram. So far in the novel you can fill in the characters, setting, point of view and one theme. You can also explain the exposition. Use a dictionary if you need to. Merriam-Webster online is great! We will discuss the setting and why it works tomorrow.

Congrats to Sean and Luke on your science fair project! They will be going to the Provincial Science Fair this spring.
L.A. - Read 30 minutes. Spelling( you will get tomorrow) will be due this Friday. We have started reading Sarah's Legacy by Valerie Sherrard. This local author will be visiting our school on April 20.
