English 7F,8D,8S- Do a rough draft comparing the movie to the book. See below.

Comparative Essay Outline
Paragraph One- introduction which gives background information- what’s the book about, setting, author of movie, director of movie
Paragraph Two- discuss the similarities between the book and the movie
Give specific examples from the book/film. Use statements that show what you think about the similarities and support what you are saying: I think… I believe… In my opinion … BECAUSE
Paragraph Three- discuss the differences between the book and the movie
Give specific examples from the book/film. Use statements that show what you think about the differences and support what you are saying: I think… I believe… In my opinion … BECAUSE
Paragraph Four- Decide which you liked better, the movie or the film, and explain why.
Paragraph Five- conclusion
Explain what you learned from the story.
