Santa has come early to Dr. Losier Middle School! Students at the school were fortunate to be awarded  a substantial donation from the Walter MacDonald Music Fund this year and the instruments have started to arrive! With this generous contribution to our music program, we will be dedicating our Jam Room to Norman Learo; a former music teacher in our school and a renowned musician himself. We know Norman would be proud that his musical legacy will live on with our students as they discover new talents of their own.

The goal of the RING A BELL Campaign is to raise awareness and inspire youth, their families, and communities to take positive actions in support of youth mental health. This year, Hon. Bill Fraser participated in our opening assembly and said a few words on the importance of this issue.  This week students will be learning about mental health through lessons, activities, and a bell ringing event.
