Jenna Taylor won 1st Place at the Provincial Level of the annual Royal Canadian Legion Literary and Poster contest for 2016, for her Intermediate Essay. Her entry has been forwarded to Dominion Command for judging at the National Level in Ottawa. Mike Veny, one of America's leading mental health speakers presented at JMH theatre and some of our students were asked to attend. Thank you to JMH and the Chatham Rotary Club for arranging Mike's visit. His performance touched many of our middle school students who thoroughly enjoyed it!
Pink Shirt day was celebrated on wednesday at Dr. Losier Middle School. Over 100 students and staff wore pink to show their support for this movement. See gallery for pictures.

All staff in Anglophone North School District will be participating in professional learning on Friday, February 24th. There will be no school for students on this day.
We are hoping that the third time's the charm! The weather looks clear, so the Valentine's Dance is rescheduled for Thursday, February 23rd, 2017, from 6:15 - 8:15. All level 2 and 3 students are welcome to attend. Cost is $5. This dance is a Home and Schoolfundraiser. Hope to see you there.
