The School Heritage Fair was held on April 13th. The following students will be moving on to the District Fair in May: Back Row- Noah Young, Grayson Harris, Miranda Buckley, Alexandre Comeau, Jenna Taylor, Anika Bushra.  Front Row-Mathew Brown, Laken McCarthy, Mya Moran, Ava Cassidy, Kayden McCarthy, Owen Trevors.

Thank you to the judges for doing such a wonderful job and congratulations to all the students who participated in our School Heritage Fair.

The School Heritage Fair, which was scheduled for Wednesday, has been rescheduled for Thursday morning, beginning at 9:00.

Due to the cancellation of school, the dance scheduled for Wednesday, April 12th is being postponed.  We will post the new date once it has been rescheduled.

DLMS staff and students congratulate four of our students for winning medals at the Provincial Science Fair held in Fredericton: Alexandre Comeau won GOLD, and Grayson Harris, Lydia Barry and Laken McCarthy all won Bronze medals.  We're very proud of you all!  :)

Parent Teacher Interviews will take place on Thursday, March 30th from 4:30 - 6:30, and on Friday, March 31st from 8:45 - 11:30.  All interviews will take place in the gymnasium.  Due to the interviews and staff professional learning, there will be no school for students on Friday March 31st.

Jenna Taylor won 1st Place at the Provincial Level of the annual Royal Canadian Legion Literary and Poster contest for 2016, for her Intermediate Essay. Her entry has been forwarded to Dominion Command for judging at the National Level in Ottawa. Presenting on behalf of Branch #3 are (L to R): Literary and Poster contest chair Marianne Harris, Jim Harris, Jenna Taylor and contest co-chair Gerald Mullins.

Mike Veny, one of America's leading mental health speakers presented at JMH theatre and some of our students were asked to attend.  Thank you to JMH and the Chatham Rotary Club for arranging Mike's visit.  His performance touched many of our middle school students who thoroughly enjoyed it!
