Students in the Miramichi area have an opportunity to enjoy a professional presentation of an 18th century musical and admission is free! Jeunesses Musicales Canada, Miramichi Chapter, is hosting a performance of Mozart’s opera Cosi fan Tutte this Saturday, November 17th at 7:30 pm at Carrefour Beausoleil. This year in the spirit of Remembrance Day, we’d like to honor our soldiers who are still serving in the Armed Forces. We will join with NBCC and prepare Christmas Shoeboxes for those soldiers who will be away from their loved ones this Christmas.
If you’d like to help us out, please bring in any of the following items to place in our Christmas Shoeboxes. You may find that you have extras around the house. We will gather these items until next Thursday, November 15. Any items will help! You can send them in to your homeroom teacher each day.
Our students will present their thoughts about Remembrance Day through poetry, song and dramatic readings on Friday, November 9 at 9:00 a.m. Parents are welcome to attend.
