Mrs. MacDonald’s 8C Social Studies class will be hosting a mixed varsity soccer game during last period.
Cost is $2.00 per students and all money is going to support the Miramichi Youth House. This is a great opportunity for students to connect to their community. This organization is one the stduents of 8M chose and they are proud to have a chance to show their community spirit. We look forward to seeing every DLMS student at the game.
We held our annual Terry Fox Run on Friday afternoon organized by Mrs. Prince. There was a wonderful turn out! Mrs. Squire had issued a challenge to the students. If they raised $500, she would dress as a Super Hero next Friday. Nothing's been tabulated officially yet , but we hope that she is prepared to teach in a cape!
