Once again the French Immersion Students at DLMS have arranged an in school food drive to support the Miramichi food bank. Especially during this season it is important to remember the needs of those who may need a helping hand during the holidays. Each student has been asked to bring in a non-perishable food item. The response from most classes and students has been generous. We know that many families in our community will benefit from the generosity of our students and their families.

Our first Variety show of the year was a great success. The student audience for the afternoon show was really impressed with the quality of the performances and the talent of their classmates. Many felt that it was the best show they had seen yet and are looking forward to the next variety show. The evening show was well attended by the community and was thoroughly enjoyed by that audience as well. Mrs. Frost has said the event was a wonderful success and that the students put on a wonderful performance.
