Here are the upcoming practices.  Please check the schedule and plan to be there when we practice your scene.  In order to be successful, everyone needs to be present whether you have one line, five lines or twenty!  We are going over places on stage and emotions needed for the scene.  Attendance is crucial! We will be measuring for costumes this week, too! February 10

Dr. Losier Middle School has decided to join the “Operation Christmas Shoe Boxes- Support Our Troops Campaign”. This campaign is a wonderful effort to make Christmas more enjoyable for our troops in Afghanistan.  Our grade eight students are going to organize this campaign at our school. By following the Soldier's Wish List, we are going to pack as many shoeboxes as possible.  We hope that everyone will be able to contribute by donating an item or two from the list below to place in a shoebox.  Soldier's Wish List Christmas card with message of support Medicated Lip balm with sunscreen

International School Library Month A book is to the mind what exercise is to the body!

This year at Dr Losier we have implemented a" T-time". This time is part of every student’s day. Students will often read during this time but they may sometimes work on homework. Throughout the year various teachers and teams of teachers will be using this time to offer extra-help, tutor, or offer enrichment. These opportunities will help every student here at DLMS to be as successful as possible. This type of scheduling has been tried in many other schools and they have reported that this time can be a valuable addition to each child's instructional time.
