To foster a sense of belonging and school spirit, every homeroom is going to participate in the school wide House Cup Challenge.
There will be different challenges each month testing varying aptitudes in both academics and sports.

Tomorrow is DLMS' Terry Fox Run. Please be sure to bring in your fundraised money or donation and give it to your homeroom teacher. Also, please wear your sneakers as we will be walking the track. You can walk or run this race. Remember what a great cause this is for!!
According to the Ottawa Bully Prevention Program, “bullying occurs once every 7 minutes. Bullying frequently goes unreported.” Today, students at Dr. Losier Middle School had the opportunity to listen to Travis Price, a young man who is trying to change this horrible reality.

Welcome back to another great year at Dr. Losier Middle School! It’s that time again and we are excited to run our yearly fundraiser, Treasure Mills Nut Free Cookie & Muffin Batter. Treasure Mills is a leading Canadian manufacture of school safe, nut and peanut free baked goods.
School students in the Miramichi region are once again being offered free admission to four classical music concerts scheduled during this school year. The concerts feature young professional Canadian musicians who are highly trained and often have international experience. This season’s series includes a clarinet and piano duo (September 23), Mozart’s opera Cosi Fan Tutte (November 17), a woodwind quartet (February 19) and a guitar trio (April 12) These concerts are organized by Jeunesses Musicales Canada – Miramichi and are held at Carrefour Beausoleil starting at 7:30 p.m.
As another year begins at DLMS. We would like to welcome back our grade 7 and 8 students. We also offer a special welcome to our grade 6 students and the others who are new to our school community. We have another year of exciting opportunities for students to participate in extra-curricular activities and to enrich our school community by contributing to our teams and clubs. Our partners believe that given the
opportunity and encouragement – Kids love to be active! Running (run/walk) is
an activity that everyone can do.
When is “Go For 42”?
May 14 – June 15 in schools, and ending
with the Mango Kids Fun Run on June 24th.
