I just had to put a "shout out" to my amazing grade eight class. They have been researching, writing and arguing these past two weeks in preparation for their debates.  Every day last week, we watched groups debate.  They took their role very seriously and debated well.  Some have found their true calling!   Marks and papers will be returned next week.  With their permission, I will upload their debates as podcasts.

We are going to Camp Sheldrake on Wednesday, June 4, rain or shine! Students will choose from canoeing, rock climbing, orienteering, archery, crafts and team building challenges.  Since students will be outside most of the day, they will need to dress for the weather.  Bug spray, sunscreen, extra socks, sneakers, extra set of clothes, and rain gear are recommended.  Students must bring a bagged lunch, too.       Please return permission slips and $5 fee ASAP. This is my favorite field trip. It will be so much fun!
