7F & 7S-    Finish the draft copy of your 5 Big Questions. 8S-   Work out on paper your character.  Who is he/she?  What is his/her problem?   Where does the story take place? Bring a draft to class. 6V- Finish your biography poster for Friday.

7F- Reading response is due Friday.  7S - Concrete poem is due tomorrow. 8F-  Our Holocaust Novel Study is wrapping up.  The projects were very well done! The Big 5 Questions are due tomorrow.6V-Read 20 minutes.  Good copy of biography has been pushed back to this Friday as we have been preparing for the reading assessment next week. Students may go to the computer lab on Thursday during activity period or type their biography up at home.  Either email it to me or bring it in on a USB drive and I will print it off.

Reading article due on Thursday.  Read and make notations as explained on the sheet.  Individualized Tic Tac Toe is due on Friday. 8F-  Remember to read your novels and do the next role.  Fact finders will share their info with the class. See documents for role description and  awesome examples. 6V- Read 20 minutes. Spelling and writing exercises are due tomorrow.
I look forward to our discussions on Monday. If you have Netflix, check out World War Two in color. There is a detailed explanation of Hitler's rise to power that would serve for good historical background info for your novels.

7F and 7S - Continue your research at home. You need to record the website URL (address), article and author. You should have two sources to back up what your persuasive topic.  Good copy due Monday, March 16. 8F-  Continue to finesse your draft copy by adding in transitions and the three sentence beginnings we reviewed today. You should try these sentence techniques at least 3 times in your paper.  See the examples below. We are peer editing tomorrow so bring all your information. 6V- Read 20 minutes. Keep working on your book-in-a-box.  The due date will now be March 19.

7F and 7S - Read 30 minutes. Reading response due Friday. Prompts are listed in image gallery below right hand corner.  For those of you whose draft I reviewed Tuesday, WELL DONE!!!The rest of you MUST have a rough draft for Thursday. You now have two extra days so seize the day.   There are great topics at middleschooldebate.com and many lists of persuasive topics online. 8F- Excellent work yesterday!  Those whose work I reviewed, you may make changes and then relax. I still have a few folders, 8FI, but the drafts are awesome- no worries.  Keep reading! Seize the day. Those who are behind in their work, need to have a persuasive draft tomorrow. If it is at school, continue at home, as it was due Tuesday. Some of you have reading responses past due- work on them, please.  If you aren’t sure, you can email me.  If you had a mark of 12 or less, redo them! J  6V- Read 20 minutes.
