7F-   READ 30 minutes.  Reading response will be returned on Monday.  Next one due on Thursday.  Can you remember "Rappin' Grammar"? AAAWWUBBIS?   We will be reviewing these helpful tools next week.

6V-  READ 20 minutes. Reading response due on Wednesday. Vocabulary collector is overdue for some of you!  Finish for Monday. Word study continues.

8F-  Brent Sherrard is coming to share his writing and life experiences! Wonderful to have another local author with us.   Holes novel projects are AMAZING!  Tuesday we will wrap them up...in others be ready to present.   Later in the week we will switch up our classes one last time to embrace a persuasive and debate unit.  Get ready to argue(respectfully, that is)!

This is it!!! Everyone is doing very well.  We just need to tweek the timing and keep the energy going.

May 3-  Almighty Dollar and  Guilty practice at t-time across from Mrs. Frost's room

May 4- Full afternoon practice until 3:30 p.m. for EVERYONE.   

***Please start baking for our bake sale the night of the show.***

May 9- EVERYONE full practice until 4:30

May 10- Dress rehearsal and show for the school in afternoon.

May 11-  Full practice until 4:00 for EVERYONE

May 12-  Public presentation of show at 7:00.  Students may just stay until the show begins.  Students can bring in $2 or pizza and bring their own drink.

6V-  Read 30 minutes. Vocabulary word due Wednesday. ( This means you need the word printed, an illustration, sentence explaining illustration, synonym( same meaning).

8F-  Amazing novel projects continue tomorrow!! Can’t wait.

We have practice today from 1-4p.m.  Bring a water bottle, pencil and script.  We are doing a complete run through. Will work on blocking characters in large group scenes, too.  Can't wait for the wacky warmup!

Hi Drama People and Parents,

Monday:There will be practice for all(except gr. 7s who have V-ball) tomorrow until 4:30.  We will work on entrances and exits, singing and expression on all parts we have done thus far.  

Thursday : All complete run- through of p, 1-30 and then working on the second half. 

Saturday, April 23 and 30  Practices from 1-4:00 : All needed!!! J

7F-  L. Arts  We were so into our read aloud that I forgot to collect your word work.  Lucky you!  I will collect it on Monday. Review spellings, too. Read 30 minutes a night as reading responses return this week. One due on Thursday.

7F-  Language Arts: Read 30 minutes. Word study due on Friday.

French: Finish your poster.

6V-  In response to Three Million Acres of Flame, choose one part of the story. Explain what is happening and then imagine what you would do if you were Skye.  How would you feel? How would you react to the situation and why?

8F-  Complete the connector role based on chapters 21-23. 

DRAMA- practice until 4:00. Everyone needed.
