DLMS Learning Showcase - Student Response Link

In your video your group must answer the following questions:

  1. Define the problem - (Demonstrate Erosion)
  2. Describe your solution - (Your design concept)
  3. Explain your challenges - (Whats not working…What you had to change in (re-phase))
  4. What are your next steps…what would change next (to make more efficient)

Each group will plan/design, build, Test, and Demonstrate a working water table that shows erosion of sand via water.

Project parameters:

  • Structure is built to contain sand
  • Stucture has a defined area 
  • Structure is waterproof
  • Water table contains fixed objects to create a bend in the stream
  • Structure is at a fixed angle
  • Structure has a fixed set up
  • Strucutre has a catch for the run off water
  • Structure has a defined start for water
  • Groups may create a pump in lieu of last two
